The RN to BSN degree program requires a minimum of 127 hours of general health education course and elective credits. Ohio University has two sets of graduation requirements: University wide requirements which all students should pass and college level requirement which include the completion of a major or minor. In general, you must have at least 120 semesters hour for bachelor’s degree with all other requirements met. The University recommends a minimum 15 semester credit hour for the minor and has no policy for a major. You must have at least an average GPA of 2.0 and an unrestricted license to practice nursing for acceptance and placement.
If you meet all the requirements then fill out and submit a non refundable online application of $25 in the Ohio University official website. Along with the application submit all the transcripts from all schools and trainings programs that you have attended, since high school. The transcripts should include verification that you have a state board of nursing approved associate degree or a diploma program in nursing. The international students must submit both official copies from the international institution as well as evaluation. If you need a financial aid then apply for it. Tuition and Financial Aids
The average cost for Ohio residents is $155 per credit hour while for non residents it is $157 per credit hour. The scholarships are given to deserving students who begin their studies in the fall semester. The SAT or ACT scores must be submitted along with other documents by February 1. The financial aids are given to students who cannot meet the educational expenses through their own resource. The financial aids can either be need based or no need based. The results from Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) will determine whether the student has financial need or not. Ohio University also provides scholarships to deserving students.
